Healing in Partnership with Nature
For those seeking a deeper connection with themselves, the earth, and their healing process this is therapy off the couch and into the wild.
These private, 1:1 therapy sessions take place in natural outdoor settings and blend the grounding power of nature with compassionate, trauma-informed care. It’s a gentle, somatic approach to healing that honors your body, your emotions, and the land. Each walk is personalized your pace, your process, your comfort.
🔹 A therapeutic walk tailored to your mobility and comfort
🔹 Mindfulness and nervous system regulation practices
🔹 Space for emotional processing and inner reflection
🔹 Supportive exploration of symbolism, stories, and insight from the natural world
🔹 A sense of calm, clarity, and embodied presence
Forest environments help regulate the nervous system by lowering stress hormones and activating the parasympathetic response. This promotes muscle relaxation, deeper breathing, and easier emotional processing, supporting trauma integration and reconnecting you with your authentic self in a calm, embodied way.

Somatic Experiencing (SE)
Key Principles
Somatic Experiencing (SE) recognizes that trauma is stored in the body and aims to renegotiate traumatic experiences by helping individuals discharge excess energy and restore a sense of safety and resilience.
Techniques
Techniques in SE may include mindfulness of bodily sensations, gentle movement exercises, and tracking internal sensations to promote self-regulation and healing.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Key Principles
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) operates on the premise that our thoughts influence our emotions and behaviors, and by changing our thought patterns, we can change how we feel and act. We aim to help you identify negative thought patterns and replace them with more adaptive beliefs and behaviors.
Techniques
Techniques in CBT may include cognitive restructuring (identifying and challenging cognitive distortions), behavior modification (using behavioral experiments and exposure techniques), and skill-building exercises (developing coping skills and problem-solving strategies).
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Key Principles
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a mindfulness-based approach that emphasizes acceptance of uncomfortable thoughts and feelings while committing to actions aligned with one's values. We use this technique to increase psychological flexibility and promote meaningful behavior change.
Techniques
Techniques in ACT may include mindfulness exercises, values clarification (identifying what matters most in life), cognitive diffusion (learning to observe thoughts without attachment), and committed action (setting and working towards goals)
Existential Therapy
Key Principles
Existential Therapy is a philosophical and experiential approach to therapy that focuses on exploring the fundamental questions of human existence, such as the meaning of life, freedom, responsibility, and death. It aims to help individuals find meaning, purpose, and authenticity in their lives.
Techniques
Techniques in Existential Therapy may include exploring existential themes through dialogue and reflection, confronting existential anxieties and dilemmas, and facilitating personal growth and self-awareness.
Mindfulness-Based Approaches
Key Principles
Mindfulness-based approaches incorporate principles of mindfulness, which involve paying attention to the present moment with openness, curiosity, and acceptance. These approaches aim to cultivate greater awareness, acceptance, and compassion towards one's thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
Techniques
Techniques in mindfulness-based approaches may include mindfulness meditation, sound healing, breathing or body scanning and movement practices bringing mindful awareness to everyday activities.
